General information
Below you will find the most important key data for image management in Designer:
Size
The maximum size of an image file is limited to 10 MB.
Videos can be inserted with a service such as YouTube or Vimeo and with the corresponding content widget on the desired page.
Type
The following image and file types are supported by Designer and can be uploaded and managed accordingly:
- JPG/JPEG
- PNG
- GIF
Number of images
The number of images has actually no fixed upper limit. Tested were up to 100 images and are safely supported up to 300.
Dimensions
The designer specifies both minimum and maximum dimensions for image files:
- Minimum dimensions: 10 x 10 pixels
- Maximum dimensions: no maximum size, simply not larger than 10MB
Slideshow
For slideshows on your designer website, a maximum of 10 images per slideshow is supported and 3 slideshows per website are recommended. Should problems occur when exceeding these recommendations, such as long loading times etc., no support can be provided from our side.
Galleries
For image galleries we recommend a maximum of 75 small images ( up to 10KB per image) or 20 large images (up to 9MB per image) per image gallery and no more than 2 such galleries per website.
