To set up your email address in the email program of your choosing, use the following configuration:
General email configuration
Without SSL/TLS encryption
Incoming emails (POP3/IMAP)
- Incoming mail server: lx#.hoststar.hosting (The first letter of the server name is a small «L» like Linux. Replace «#» with the «effective server number of your hosting»).
- User name: The username is the email address you are setting up.
- Password: The password you selected for the email address in My Panel. If you do not know the password, refer to the instructions for resetting your email password.
- POP3 port: 110
- IMAP port: 143
Outgoing emails (SMTP)
- Outgoing mail server: lx#.hoststar.hosting (The first letter of the server name is a small «L» like Linux. Replace «#» with the «effective server number of your hosting»).
- The option «SMTP server requires authentication» must be enabled. Use the same authentication details that you entered for the incoming mail server.
- Port: 25 (some providers block port 25, in which case you can use port 587.)
With SSL/TLS encryption
Enable SSL
- You can enable encryption (SSL) both for the incoming and outgoing mail server connection in your email program.

- Incoming mail server: lx#.hoststar.hosting (The first letter of the server name is a small «L» like Linux. Replace «#» with the «effective server number of your hosting».).
- User name: The username is the email address you are setting up.
- Password: The password you selected for the email address in My Panel. If you do not know the password, refer to the instructions for resetting your email password.
- POP3 port: 995
- IMAP port: 993
Outgoing emails (SMTP)
- Outgoing mail server: lx#.hoststar.hosting (The first letter of the server name is a small «L» like Linux. Replace «#» with the «effective server number of your hosting».).
- The option «SMTP server requires authentication» must be enabled. Use the same authentication details that you entered for the incoming mail server.
- Port: 465
