Administration interface for MySQL databases

Hoststar uses the phpMyAdmin interface for the administration of MySQL databases.

You can access this interface for your MySQL databases in two ways:

Open the administration interface directly

If you want to open the administration interface for your MySQL databases directly, follow these steps:

1. Log in

In the address bar of your web browser, enter the following URL: https://lx#.hoststar.hosting/phpMyAdmin (The first letter of the server name is a small L like Linux. Replace # with the effective server number of your hosting.).

Enter the login details for the appropriate MySQL user and then click OK.

2. phpMyAdmin administration interface

You are taken directly to the main page of the phpMyAdmin administration interface. Here you can manage your database.

Opening the administration interface from My Panel

You can also access the administration interface for your MySQL databases from My Panel. Follow these steps:

1. Log in

Log into My Panel (my.hoststar.at).
(Log into My Panel)

2. Navigate

Click the Hosting menu item and then Databases.

3. Open the MySQL administration interface

Click the arrow next to the desired MySQL database and then phpMyAdmin login to open the phpMyAdmin administration interface.

4. phpMyAdmin administration interface

You are taken directly to the main page of the phpMyAdmin administration interface. Here you can manage your database.
